Art Exhibition Cheque Presentation

Finlay and Carolina  were delighted to be able to present a cheque for £2143 to Murrayfield Church following November's Art Weekend - half of the total amount raised. The minister, Mr Graham and families worker, Mrs Forsythe told us how the money will be used to support children and families in the various activities held at Murrayfield Parish Church.

Roseburn Primary is already benefitting from the remainder of the fundraising as we furnish and resource our new library.

Thank you to everyone who supported this successful weekend!

World Book Day 2017

We have had an exciting  'Book Week'  filled with authors' workshops, storyteller visits, book swaps and reading challenges. One of the highlights was dressing up for World Book Day! Can you spot some familiar book characters in our pictures?

Fringe Poster Competiton Workshop

We were thrilled to be invited to work with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society to promote the 2017 Poster Competition!

P5B thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work with artist Jon Bishop,  exploring  different drawing techniques using a range of media. The pupils were interviewed by BBC Radio Scotland and had their photographs taken by several newspaper photographers. We shall keep you posted of any publications!
