Roseburn School Parent Partnership
The Roseburn School Parent Partnership (RSPP) is the name of the Parent Council of Roseburn School. The Partnership acts as a link between parents, the school, the city council and local community, and is made up of volunteer parents from each class, staff members and members from the local community.
At the beginning of each school year we call for volunteers to sit on the RSPP. We like to have at least one parent member per class.

Meetings
The RSPP typically has five meetings during each academic year. We meet on Tuesday evenings between 7:30 and 9:00pm in the school Staff Room. The last meeting for this academic year is on 11th May. All parents are welcome to attend any meeting.
Communications
In addition to this website we produce newsletters throughout the year to keep parents informed of our activities.
Contributing to the Edinburgh Parent Council Network (EPCN)
We have been working in conjunction with other parent councils in Edinburgh to oppose the proposed cuts to school budgets. We were successful in persuading the City Council not to cut our budgets for 2009/10. We also managed to keep the cuts for 2010/11 down to 1.0% instead of the 2.5% proposed. By joining together with other parent councils we have a stronger voice on issues that affect all of Edinburgh's schools.
Communicating with the City Council (CCWP)
We are often asked to give opinions to the City Council. We can also raise issue to the Council through the Consultative Committee With Parents (CCWP).
